This year we decided to hold a Bake Sale to fund-raise for Children in Need.

This week we were very lucky to have Father Daniel come into school to speak to Classes 3 and 4 about 'Iconography'. The children spoke with Father Daniel about our own religious art and were very interested to learn about icons and how they changed over the years, particularly within different religions. The children were very intrigued to learn that paint used in iconography can be made using eggs!

Published 11/10/24On Tuesday our Key Stage 2 children travelled to Westpoint to visit the Farmwise exhibition. The children spent the day learning about arable farming, dairy farming, poultry farming, our environment, wildlife, conservation and recycling. The children especially enjoyed cuddling the new chicks and seeing the piglets. They were also fascinated by the bees and honey production and learning how to shear sheep!

Published 05/07/24This week we were delighted to welcome Sandhya from the Cultural Champions to school to speak to the children about Hinduism. The children all enjoyed learning about the Hindu gods and India and had great fun dressing up in traditional Indian costumes.
