"We're going on a bug hunt!"
Class 1 had great fun this week when they set off with their magnifying glasses, minibeast checklists and beady eyes to see how many little creatures they could find on the village playing fields.
They were delighted to discover woodlice, spiders, snails, worms, flies, beetles, ladybirds and a bumblebee which landed in Mrs Nixon's hair! Using their scientific skills, the children checked off different creatures and habitat features from their lists.
